So on June 28th my wife and I left Texas early in the morning In my Ram 3500, pulling my race trailer with both my son’ and my Harleys. We headed 900+ miles to Cuchara, Colorado. It was our 2nd annual trip there for the 4th of July. We arrived at the Stonewall Lodge in the early evening. My eldest daughter, her husband, and their twin 4-year-olds had arrived the day before. My eldest son, his wife, and their two sons had arrived earlier that morning; and were staying at his wife’s family cabin about 30 minutes up the road. My middle and youngest daughter arrived the next morning.
Long story short, I took three bike rides (two with my son) through the mountain passes – and now I can cross that off my bucket list. Also did a little trout fishing, had many bear sightings, and were in two hail storms. We stayed a week and headed home early morning of July 6th and was home before midnight.
