Rule of Law, only when Liberals want it.
I just watch today’s episode of the Kangaroo Court, which Liberal Call Impeachment. The three House Manager put on their tear jerk recollections of fearing for their lives and removing their Congressional Pins to have their lives spared. Trump’s lawyers put on a compelling case of why the whole process was illegal – citing case law and reading the parts of the Bill of Rights, The Constitution, Federal Law concerning Due Process (that the House never afforded Trump) and Senate Rules on Impeachment. They also pointed out the lies of the House Managers. On Fox News, a Constitutional Scholar (Turley) who was cited by House Managers – called Bullshit, for having something he said three decades ago misrepresented.
And yet, when the vote was taken by Senate on the legality of Impeachment, they completely ignored all law and precedent by voting to go on with Impeachment 56 to 44. That means that not only all 50 Democrats – including the Impeachment Judge (Patrick Lehey) – but 6 RINOs voted against Rule of Law.
PTDS (Post Trump Derangement Syndrome) is far worse than TDS. In North Cuba, Law don’t mean shit if Liberals don’t like the law. The Judicial Branch has proved that for years, and today the Senate proved that beyond any doubt – the USA is no better than a corrupt Caribbean Banana Republic.
